We made it home about 4:45 this afternoon. Today's drive wasn't bad at all, but we were all really ready to get home. We've unpacked the car, but that's it! I'll spend the next several days unpacking and doing laundry.

Thank you so much to all of you who've left comments for us all along the way. We all enjoyed and looked forward to them every day. I plan to try and post a few more trip related tales tomorrow. We have no plans at all tomorrow. Scott said he's not driving anywhere tomorrow. If anyone wants to see us, they have drive out here, he's done! I can't say I blame him, 4,750 miles is ALOT of driving!!

Blessings,
Leslie

I'm glad you're home safe and sound! It seemed like this trip flew by (probably not for you driving it though!).

I can't even imagine the unpacking and laundry from a 3 week trip. Ugh.

Personally I'm glad you are home. It became a chore reading these daily and making commentary. I'm beginning to think, like any good conspiracy theorist, that the whole trip was a hoax perpetrated on the people.

It fits in with the theme. Good girl done good. Marries a good guy. They have three beautiful children. They do nice things for people and for society in general. And then they act like a family and go on traditional vacations. You probably even go to church and are civic minded.

C'mon. We want the real dirt. Scott's addiction to drinks with umbrellas in them that he never finishes. Those kinds of things. Enough of this "family" stuff. This is America. What do you think sells newspapers? Stuff like this - or gossip and negative press.

Let's get with the program.
