Thomas Turns 9!!

The child that made me a mother is nine. Nine. Almost a decade!

He's totally a nine year old boy too. He likes frogs, and lizards. He's digging a hole to China in our backyard. Sports are slowly taking over our lives...basketball camp last week and soccer camp this coming week. We have to smell his hair after he gets out of the shower to make sure he really washed! He has dirty fingernails, a smart-mouth, and knack for setting off his sister. He also has a tender heart, a sly, quick sense of humor and a real appreciation for nature, history and travel. He's a total boy and God has truly blessed us!

For his birthday, he spent the night with his best buddy Hunter and we had a cookout at Gigi and Papaw's house. We watched the fireworks from their backyard.

We had a great time celebrating Thomas and the nation's birthday's!!
