We pulled away from the house at 3:13 p.m. and arrived in Joplin at about 9:00! We were all loaded up and waiting for Thomas and Grace when they came home from school. They came in put their backpacks up and we headed out! 
We only stopped twice the entire trip! We stopped at McDonalds for dinner and once for a bathroom break. This afternoon and evening was spent entirely in the car, so we won't do a "Top Ten." We'll wait until tomorrow. 
Mandy was asleep when we pulled into McDonalds and wasn't real pleased with the fact that we'd woken her up. She wasn't going to the potty and she wasn't eating any chicken! She had a couple of other minor breakdowns over getting things in and out of her backpack and once she lost the ziploc baggie that was housing a princess and that caused some trauma. Other than that she was fine.We didn't pass too many cool sites today. However, we did pull over to take a picture of Thomas in front of this restaurant sign.
This is the McDonalds that goes over I44 between Tulsa and Joplin. It was too late to stop when we passed it, but the kids thought it was huge fun to drive underneath it! Tomorrow we are headed out early to St. Louis!

Hope those storms aren't getting in your way! Sorry you had to miss McDonalds, but it's not exactly an amusement park inside :). Can't wait to see all the places you go!
