Disney Day 3--More Magic Kingdom!

We spent the day back in Cinderella's Magic Kingdom. I think Mandy would be content to just have me push the stroller around and around the castle all day so she could look at it. She was a little bit more into the rides today, even crying when the Magic Carpet ride was over because she wanted to go again! They both love the carousel, so of course we rode that.
We stayed until around 1:00 and then went back to the hotel for a rest and so that I could print our boarding passes for our flight tomorrow. When we went back we had dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern so we could see Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale. Grace hasn't been all that interested in the characters this time, but tonight at dinner she literally fell out of her chair trying to watch Minnie Mouse in the next room!!
Dale was the first to visit our table. Mandy LOVED him. She looked at him and said, "OH...It's a chipmunk!"Neither of the girls ate very much, because the were much to excited over the anticipation of our next activity....The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!!! I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was definately worth it. You have your choice of different packages and options. We had brought our own princess gowns from home, so all we really needed was hair, makeup and nails! You are greeted by your very own "fairy godmother in-training" and whisked into the salon. Where they begin with your hair. Mandy went first.
Then they started on Grace.

An hour, a ton of gel and hairspray and approximately 2 lbs of "pixie dust" later......

Bibbidi.....

Bobbidi....

BOO!

They got to leave with their makeup palette, comb, fake hair, barrettes, sash and stickers. They really were adorable! They had the best time. Mandy was just beside herself!! Afterwards she conked out in the stoller, I think the anticipation and excitement just wore her out!
Grace and I rode a few rides and we had something to eat while she slept. She did wake up in time to do a little shopping!

They had a great time today. It was so much fun to watch them in the boutique being fussed over like they were actually Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and see their reaction to it all! I was in high school before I had my hair cut in a salon! I can't imagine what that was like for them!

We are headed for home tomorrow! We've had a great time, but I'm ready to get home and have Christmas. Scott hasn't had good internet service in Red River, so he hasn't been able to send any pictures of their ski trip. I will post them when we all get home. I've talked to them several times though and they are having a blast. Thomas was all excited because he did a "black" today. He did say that he skied it for a while and then it got really steep so he scooted down on his behind for a while until it got easier and then skied the rest of the way down! He's already soooo passed me up!! I walked down a blue last year because it was too much for my ability!!!

I have some more pictures that I will post when we get home tomorrow night, but it's 1:30 here, so I'm going to bed!

Christmas blessings,

Leslie
