Today was one of those Disney days where everything you have planned to do takes twice as long as you thought it would. Epcot was really crowded. The bus we were on to the park was packed, they literally would not let anyone else on. Then on the way there, the bus died 3 different times!!! The driver kept pulling off to the side of the road and he could get it started again and we'd limp along till it died again. Finally he managed to nurse it to the farthest bus stop away from the Epcot entrance. The entire bus cheered when it arrived! By this point Mandy had fallen asleep so I had to carry her about a quarter of a mile from the bus stop, thru the entrance and to stroller rental. So, needless to say I was exhausted before we really even got to the attractions. We wandered around for awhile until time for our lunch reservations at Akershus in Norway. I was pretty skeptical about this because we did a breakfast there 2 years ago that was awful. But I must say I was very pleasently surprised. They had a great appetizer buffet and then you got to choose your entree from the menu. Dessert was served family style.
Mom had chicken, I had salmon, Mandy had pizza and Grace had the Mickey Mouse shaped ravioli!

We met Belle when we came in, but the other 4 princesses all made the round very quickly. Mandy was so excited she could hardly stay in her chair.

Ariel--"with legs" as Grace described her!
Princess Aurora--or "Sleeping Beauty" as she's better known.
This is Princess Jasmine. After she left our table Mandy says,"I saw her belly button!" She's talked the rest of the day about it!

It felt like we spent most of the day on a bus. Oh...I forgot to mention that Mandy has an eye infection. If her eye looks red and swollen in the above pictures that's why!! Anyway, her Dr. called her in a prescription and there is a local pharmacy that works with Disney so they filled it and delivered it to the front desk of our hotel!!! More Disney magic! Anyway, it already looks better, thank goodness. Here's hoping none of the rest of us get it!
We tried to do Downtown Disney tonight, but it was mobbed. We hit one store and then headed back because Mandy had a major meltdown over this Buzz Lightyear statue. Don't ask. Anyway, we took that as a sign that we needed to call it a night.

Tomorrow is our last day and we are going to spend it at the Magic Kingdom. That's what the girls really enjoy and since we did a huge chuck of it yesterday, we'll just hit the few things we didn't and then repeat the things we liked the first go round!!
Blessings,
Leslie

Ooooh, that stinks about her eye but that's great how D works for you.
I'm glad to hear about Akershus, I've always been hesitant to try it. Ummm, where are the pics of YOU??
