Tonight Thomas had a test for his camo belt in karate. The video clip is the "sparring" portion of the test. He was super excited, about this belt. What could be better than a camo karate belt??

I like the whole karate thing. The instructor that runs the place is a woman, who's like a 12th degree black belt or something. She's awesome. Possibly one of the coolest, kick ass, people I've ever met. The other day Thomas made some derogatory remark to his sister about her not being able to do something because she's a girl. I suggested that he repeat that remark to Ms. Raines, the karate instructor and he went instantly pale! It's good for him to have a woman as an instructor.

Scott comes home tomorrow. He's been in San Antonio since Sunday. Since we haven't seen him all week, I'm taking the kids out of school a few minutes early tomorrow. I'm going to take them with me to vote and then we are picking Scott up at the airport. They've had lots of questions about what it "looks like" when you vote!
