Milder Family Extreme Vacation Part II!!

Well, we're at it again! We had so much fun last year on our 15 day 16 state vacation that we've decided to do it again..only longer! We'll be gone from June 1-23. This year we are headed WEST! Our itinerary is as follows:

6/1—Carlsbad,NM
6/2- Tombstone, AZ
6/3- Yuma, AZ
6/4- Amaheim, CA
6/5- Anaheim, CA
6/6- Beverly Hills, CA
6/7- Santa Barbara
6/8- San Francisco
6/9- San Francisco
6/10- Yosemite
6/11-Yosemite
6/12- Las Vegas
6/13- Las Vegas
6/14- Grand Canyon
6/15- St. George
6/16- Salt Lake City
6/17- Laramie, WY
6/18- Estes Park- Stanley Hotel
6/19- Estes Park- YMCA of the Rockies
6/20- Estes Park- YMCA of the Rockies
6/21- Dodge City, KS
6/22- Edmond, OK

Those are the places where we are actually spending the night. We plan to do the OK corral, Carlsbad Caverns, Legoland, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Alcatraz, Hearst Castle, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas, Stay at the Stanley Hotel (The Shining--yes Scott's choice)...plus whatever else we find along the way!

In preparation for our trip we rented National Lampoon's Family Vacation for movie night last weekend. In our defense as parents....neither of us had seen the movie in about 20 years...let me just say..it's really not a family movie. However, the kids did think it was hysterical.

Clark, I mean Scott, wants us to leave Rockwall at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. I will update the blog from Carlsbad, NM tomorrow night!
