We just returned from our week long Spring Break ski trip to Red River. We had so much fun!! We rented a cabin with our friends the Honeycutts and the Bradley's.
As many of you have read before I'm not such a great skier, but I had a blast watching the kids. Thomas is amazing. He can zip down just about any run. Let's put it this way, among 15 people, 8 of whom are adults, Thomas is second only to his dad in ski ability.

This is Thomas at 5:23 a.m Sunday when we left. I had just dragged myself out of the bedroom to head to the coffee pot and this is what I saw. He was fully dressed, wide awake and just waiting on the rest of us! I guess you could say he was a little excited.

He had the most fun hanging out with his life-long friend Hunter. Above you can see him giving Hunter a little assitance up the hill to the ski lift.

This was Grace's second ski trip. Last year in Lake Tahoe she really wasn't all that interested. This year was a totally different story! We couldn't keep her off the slopes. She came in completely exhausted every night. The first few days she hung out on the bunny slopes. The last day Scott paid her $10 to go up the yellow lift with him and after she did it once she spent the entire day on that run! She was AWESOME!!! At one point Scott and I were in line with her to all go up the lift together, when she told up she'd like to ride the lift alone. We are so proud of her. It was a great boost for her confidence and her independence!

Mandy turned three the day we left. You have to be four to go to ski school, so she attended the Scott Milder ski school and totally rocked! She loved it!

She loved skiing with "my friend Haylee." Above she's getting a little help from David and her big brother. By the end of the week she was riding the lift on the bunny slope with her daddy and skiing down the hill by herself. She had such a wonderful time! She also enjoyed spending 5 straight days with Haylee. Those two were hysterical together!
This is only a small portion of our week and I'll post more later, but right now I have to go to bed. We didn't get home until 1:30 this morning and I was up at 8. My Aunt Jane is in the hospital, she had her gall bladder removed this morning. She's doing so well, that she should get to come home tomorrow morning! WooHOO!
I have so many cute pics of all the kids that I'll definately be posting more of our trip!
Blessings,
Leslie
